Finding or letting someone find you;that needs something that you have to offer,that will benefit from your companionship,that can trust you,that will feel like you are understanding,that will admire all that you are.Because in order to find someone or let someone find you,you need to be the person that you are looking for.
We all struggle with being true to ourselves and our talent. Do we want to become sell outs? Those people who do anything to get a buck? The other day I read a blog, where the blogger discussed a fellow blogger who wrote simply for the attention. Should we write just to see our “view” tally rise and send out mindless, senseless dribble to watch that happen? I have come across countless blogs with content that I know exceeds my own, yet I see so few people reading, commenting or even liking! I often wonder what is it that brings people to these places and more importantly what makes them stay?
To fully allow this expression of love,
We must first lose any sense of our self,
For that sense of ‘self’ is what stops us
from expressing our true nature.
Not being selfish is good.
But let us go even higher,
And reach for the vibration of pure
selfless love.
Selflessness is being transparent–
empty of all desires.
Empty even of the desire for love.
We must admit we cannot walk in love without the love of God. We cannot be happy without the goodness of God. We cannot have a successful holiday event by our own power or will. We need help in preparations and relationships. Our Lord will guide in every way if we ask. His direction is key to success.
I have found ways and tricks to put myself in the moment. One particular trick is the most inspiring phrase I have ever heard. With one utterance, I can buy myself enough time to do anything, no matter how rash or stupid later introspection may judge it to be.
Sometimes in life, you find a special friend. Someone who changes your life just by being a part of it. Someone who makes you laugh until you can’t stop. Someone who makes you believe that there really is good in the world. Someone who convinces you that there really is an unlocked door just waiting for you to open it. This is forever friendship.
